Course Work Set Brief

As a student of media studies, I am given the task to create an opening scene of a movie.

In this year (AS), we have two sections, theoretical which consists of part A and B. With "A" being an analysis on a video clip which will be shown at the spot and "B" being question & answers. The other as a student of media studies, I am given the task to create an opening scene of a movie.

Following up with the actual assignment, there is a certain format for this video. The length should be of 2 min 30 seconds max in which we should be able to show what type of movie it is going to be. It should clarify the social group, the targeted audience and build up sufficient suspense of the viewers to continue watching the movie. They should be able to see that the video was made through proper cinematography. There is no hard and fast rule of making either a one-take or multiple clips and compiling them into one. The purpose of the movie, as in will the audience be able to identify what the scene is trying to accomplish, should be made clear.
