The Mise En Scene
Mise en scene is a French term that literally translates to "putting in the scene." It refers to the visual elements and design of a film or theatrical production, including the placement of actors, props, costumes, lighting, and camera angles.
In my upcoming film, I will implement a one-take approach, which will allow me to capture multiple angles ranging from close-ups to medium shots to wide-angle shots. The lighting used will be natural, utilizing the available street lights and moonlight present at the location of the shoot.
To bring my story to life, I will hire two actors. One will portray a mysterious man dressed in formal attire and a long coat, while the other will portray a dealer in worn-out clothes concluding a deal. The sole prop utilized in the film will be a bag, which will serve as a pivotal component driving the narrative forward.
